“Pro-choice group Ruth Sent Us, a reference to late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, threatened to burn the Eucharist in response to a Twitter user who offered to pray for them after they called for protests at Catholic churches and justices' homes.
"Stuff your rosaries and your weaponized prayer. We will remain outraged after this weekend, so keep praying. We’ll be burning the Eucharist to show our disgust for the abuse Catholic Churches have condoned for centuries," tweeted the organization, which has called on abortion supporters to protest at Catholic churches across the country over the Mother's Day weekend.” https://www.foxnews.com/us/activist-group-threatens-burn-eucharist-display-disgust-catholics
The preceding quote while claiming to show disgust for the Catholic Church displays contempt for Jesus Christ. The Eucharist is representative of the body and blood of Christ. This contempt for Christ and the Father is to be expected in the last days.
2 Timothy 3 New American Standard Bible 1995 “3 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. 2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, [a]haters of good, 4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,”
This is just one way people of the world exhibit being lovers of self rather than lovers of God. But they make no pretention of being God followers or loving God. They want to live their lives their way. Women want the “freedom” to have relationships with men without being held accountable for their actions. If a baby is conceived, it is a mere inconvenience to be done away with. They don’t think about what if their mother killed them in the womb. Jeremiah 1:5 New American Standard Bible 1995 “5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,”
God has a plan for each person before they are conceived. Yet you being your own god chose to kill a child God has plans for.
Women and men may confuse sex with love. Sex is a physical act not requiring love. It can be nothing more than self-gratification. Love requires commitment to mutual support of one and other. After the immediate self-gratification from the sexual act how does your heart feel? Do you feel a deep abiding love? Are you willing to settle for sex rather than love?
Does your heart yearn for love? Learn about God’s love for you. Don’t take other people’s word for it. Do your own research. The gospel of John is a good place to start.
