Psalm 140:1-3 New American Standard Bible 1995 “1Rescue me, O Lord, from evil men; Preserve me from violent men 2 Who devise evil things in their hearts; They continually stir up wars. 3 They sharpen their tongues as a serpent; Poison of a viper is under their lips.”
Currently there are three potential conflicts in the world that would involve the United States of America.
The most pressing today is the Ukraine, Russia standoff. Russia views Ukraine as little Russia and wants to prevent NATO accepting Ukraine as a member. With over one hundred thousand Russian troops at the Russia, Ukraine border; Russia is trying to sell the world that conflict is western hype trying to create fear. If what Russia states is true, then why are there so many troops at the border? Why not just have the troops return to their posts in Russia?
On January 21, 2022 Aljazeera reported “Russia has announced its navy will stage a sweeping set of exercises from the Pacific to the Atlantic involving all its fleets – the latest show of strength in a surge of military activity during a standoff with the West.
The drills this month and next will take place in the seas directly adjacent to Russia and also feature manoeuvres in the Mediterranean, the North Sea, the Sea of Okhotsk, the northeast Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific, the defence ministry said in a statement on Thursday.” https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/1/21/russia-to-flex-muscles-with-navy-drills-involving-all-its-fleets
The second is China and a possible invasion of Taiwan. China has been war mongering about a possible invasion. It routinely sends fighter jets into Taiwan airspace. The United States is committed to supporting Taiwan.
The third is North Korea. North Korea has been testing multiple missiles in recent days many of which can reach Japan and the United States. Since the Korean War the United States has supported South Korea’s autonomy from North Korea. North Korea views the United States as an enemy to be defeated. What would happen if one of those missiles hit an unintended target?
