The Center for Strategic and International Studies states:
“The Euphrates River is at risk of drying up due to climate change. Temperatures in northeastern Syria have risen by one degree Celsius compared to 100 years ago, and average rainfall has decreased by 18 millimeters per month per century. The Iraqi Ministry of Water Resources warns that the river could be dry by 2040.” https://features.csis.org/the-future-of-the-Euphrates-River/
August 16, 2022 CNN reported:
“The federal government announced that the Colorado River will operate in a Tier 2 shortage condition for the first time starting in January as the West’s historic drought has taken a severe toll on Lake Mead.
What this means:
Arizona, Nevada and Mexico will have to further reduce their Colorado River use beginning in January. California will not yet have cuts made to the water it receives from the Colorado River.
Of the impacted states, Arizona will face the largest cuts — 592,000 acre-feet — or about 21% of the state’s yearly allotment of river water.” https://www.cnn.com/us/live-news/lake-mead-colorado-river-report/index.html
ABC News reported on August 16, 2023, one year later than the CNN report that:
“Lake Mead, located in the Colorado River Basin, will operate at a Tier 1 shortage next year, an improvement over the current Tier 2 shortage, according to the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation.
In addition to Lake Mead, Lake Powell is currently at a Tier 2 but will operate at a Tier 1 shortage in 2024, based on projections from a 24-month study, the government said.” https://abcnews.go.com/US/lake-mead-significant-improvement-water-levels/story?id=102323139
Psalm 107:33-37 New American Standard Bible 1995
“33 He [a]changes rivers into a [b]wilderness And springs of water into a thirsty ground;34 A fruitful land into a salt waste, Because of the wickedness of those who dwell in it.35 He [c]changes a [d]wilderness into a pool of water And a dry land into springs of water;36 And there He makes the hungry to dwell, So that they may establish [e]an inhabited city,37 And sow fields and plant vineyards, And [f]gather a fruitful harvest. ”
This Psalm clearly indicates that Yahweh is in control of the earths climate.
