Another Democrat throwing a temper tantrum because she didn’t get the results from the Supreme Court she wanted. Just another example of let’s persecute those that don’t agree with us. 

“Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., threatened to bring articles of impeachment against the Supreme Court after Monday's immunity ruling regarding former President Trump. 

"The Supreme Court has become consumed by a corruption crisis beyond its control," Ocasio-Cortez wrote on X. "Today’s ruling represents an assault on American democracy. It is up to Congress to defend our nation from this authoritarian capture. I intend on filing articles of impeachment upon our return."” https://www.foxnews.com/politics/aoc-threatens-supreme-court-articles-impeachment-over-immunity-ruling 

Our government was designed by the founding fathers to allow the citizens to govern the nation by the election process. Not for certain people to hijack the government for their own purposes.  “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.” https://constitution.congress.gov/constitution/  It did not say some of the people, Democrats, or Republicans. It was all inclusive in “We the People of the United States.” 

Abraham Lincoln reiterated this premise in his Gettysburg address. “that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”  https://www.abrahamlincolnonline.org/lincoln/speeches/gettysburg.htm 

We the people govern through our elected officials. We can change the people who represent us at regularly scheduled elections. The Constitution gives the House and Senate a means of censuring or expelling representatives for causes that have been enumerated. 

The founding fathers never expected complete agreement on issues. They provided a mechanism that allows the voice of the majority to be represented. That means that at times a person will represent me with whom I disagree, and vice versa. The expectation was that all would peacefully abide by the outcome of elections, legislation and judicial rulings. They would act civilly toward one another. 

What we see from AOC is intolerant behavior that implies “I must have my way, or I will throw a fit and threaten others.” It is my belief that she libeled the justices in her statement "The Supreme Court has become consumed by a corruption crisis beyond its control."  This is unacceptable.
